How to Prepare an Industrial RFQ
A practical checklist for manufacturer, model, quantity, technical documentation and delivery information.
Start with technical identity
Include the manufacturer, model, part number, tag number or existing equipment reference whenever available. This reduces ambiguity during sourcing.
Attach supporting documents
Datasheets, drawings, nameplate photos, BOM lines and material requirements help suppliers compare the same technical scope.
State the commercial requirement
Quantity, delivery destination, required delivery date and documentation expectations should be stated clearly in the RFQ.
